How and why do we collect personal data from you?
We receive information from you when you enter into a contract for services, this will include personal and financial data pertinent to the fulfilment and payment of those services.
When accessing our web services data about your connection may be recorded in an anonymised format, this may include your IP address and information about your browser and/or device.
We also act as a data processor acting under the instruction of data controllers for whom we host or store content through one of our online services.
What type of data do we collect?
The personal data that we may collect from you includes your name, address, e-mail address, telephone numbers, and payment information. We also retain records of your queries and correspondence, in the event you contact us.
How do we use your data?
We use information about you in the following ways:

Personal data managed by customer organisations
Our customers may use our services to host, transmit, or process data on our hosting platforms as agreed in our Terms of Service/Service Agreement.
For the avoidance of doubt, under these circumstances, the customer organisation stipulates the process for collecting and processing their customer’s data. Most importantly, we do not access this data unless expressly instructed to by the customer, for example to provide technical support.
In accordance with this Privacy Notice, the customer organisation is responsible for managing the security of their customers’ data prior to uploading onto our platforms. Whilst in transit using our administration tools all data is encrypted using SSL and/or TLS. The customer organisation is responsible for ensuring compliance with their responsibilities as a data controller.
Retention periods
We will keep your personal data for the duration of the period you are a customer of MSDL Ltd. We shall retain your data only for as long as necessary in accordance with applicable laws.
Who has access to your personal data?
Domains
We process your data for administration, billing, support and the provision of services. Your data (Registrant) may be sent to the domain registrar outside of the EEA where international domain names are requested.
Webhosting, Dedicated Servers, and Virtual Servers
We process your data for administration, billing, support and the provision of services.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of your data within those environments, whilst we are responsible only for ensuring the security of the environment itself.
MSDL Ltd will not access any data stored within these services without a written request from you.
Email hosting
We process your data for administration, billing, support and the provision of services. Additionally, to provide customer domain and connection details and use email addresses to provide the service
Office 365 user data shared with Microsoft in the EEA.
All other Email hosting is stored within the UK. MSDL Ltd will not access any data stored within these services without a written request from you.

You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your Right To Object To Processing

You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
